A 44-year-old man was arrested for allegedly dealing in dagga, last Tuesday.
The arrest was made by officers from the Primrose Police Station and the Gauteng Flying Squad in the Makause informal settlement after police received a tip-off from the community.
“Police were told that the man was allegedly selling dagga from his shack,” said Sgt Styles Maome, communications officer for the Primrose police.

Police rushed to the scene where they found the accused.
They introduced themselves and asked to search him and his premises.

“During the search, officers found a large plastic bag containing dagga,” said Maome.
“It was seized and the man arrested.”
He was taken to the Primrose Police Station pending his appearance in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court.
