While on a patrol in Primrose recently officers from the Primrose Police Station noticed three men carrying and selling goods out of a cardboard box.
“The men, aged between 26 and 32 years old, became noticeably nervous when they noticed the police.

“The officers approached them and asked to search the box they were carrying,” said Sgt Styles Maome, communications officer for the Primrose police.

In the box they found several pairs of shoes.

“They asked the men to produce proof of purchase.
“When they were unable to give this to the police they were arrested and brought to the Primrose Police Station where they were charged with possession of suspected stolen property,” said Maome.
The suspects appeared in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court where their case was postponed for plea and trial.
