The Germiston SAPS are asking for help in locating a man wanted in connection with a rape and robbery.
Sgt Mthunzi Mehlomakhulu from the Germiston FCS Unit said, “It is alleged that the victim was at the Germiston Train Station on her way back from work when she asked the suspect if there were still any trains available.

“The suspect told her there were no trains and she asked for R10 as she did not have enough money to catch a taxi.
“The suspect told her he had R50 on him, but he would walk her to the taxi rank.
“On their way, he threatened her with a knife, told her to undress and proceeded to rape her.”
The suspect is said to be in his 30’s, dark in complexion, slender and of medium height.
He has a scar on his right cheek and speaks isiZulu.
On the day of the incident he was wearing a black leather jacket with blue jeans and a black cap with leather details.
Anyone who might be able to assist with the investigation is urged to contact the investigating officer Mehlomakhulu on 078 487 2005.
