The Katlehong police are appealing to residents of Sector One and Two to be on the lookout for a silver Volkswagen Polo, which is reportedly being used to collect stolen goods.
“According to the Katlehong police’s records, the vehicle has been linked to almost every burglary that has occurred in the two sectors.
“A report that is collaborated by several eyewitnesses,” said Capt Mega Ndobe, communications officer for the Katlehong police.

“It is alleged that at each crime scene suspects will load the Polo will loads of stolen goods and drive away.
“These crimes happen while the homeowners are away at work or school.”

The police are appealing to anyone with information about this vehicle to call the police station on 011 617 3661.
The Katlehong SAPS’ acting station commander Col Nomthandeki Mthembu urged the community to come forward with information, “We need to work together in the fight against crime.
“While your neighbours are away, keep an eye on their property and report any suspicious activities,” said Mthembu.
