Police got more than they bargained for when they responded to a complaint of domestic violence in Primrose last Tuesday.
They ended up arresting a 35-year-old man for possession and dealing in drugs, as well as domestic violence.

“Officers were met at the gate by the complainant, who led them to the flat where the alleged assault took place.
“She told officers that her boyfriend had assaulted her when she told him not to manufacture drugs in front of their two-year-old son,” said communications officer for the Primrose SAPS, Sgt Styles Maome.
Police searched the home and found seven small ziplock bags containing a white substance, two ziplock packets containing dagga and a scale hidden in a cupboard.

The suspect was arrested and taken to the Primrose police station.
He is due to appear in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court soon.
