The Primrose police recently arrested two men, aged 21 and 23 respectively, for armed robbery.
The arrests were made at the Makause informal settlement, last Wednesday, after the victim opened a case at the Primrose Police Station.

“The complainant alleged that he was heading towards Primrose in a taxi, from Germiston, with the intent to buy stock.
“When he disembarked from the taxi he was approached by two men, one who was allegedly armed with a firearm and the other a knife,” explained Sgt Styles Maome, communications officer for the Primrose SAPS.

The accused, with the firearm, threatened him with it and ordered him to keep quiet while searching him.
“They took his cellphone, airtime and R380 in cash,” said Maome.
“The victim was able to describe the men to officers as he recognised them as they often used to stand near his shop.”
The suspects were soon found and arrested and were taken to the Primrose Police Station.
They will appear in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court soon.
