According to the latest arrest statistics released by the Germiston Police Station, 60 suspects were arrested between May 21 and 28.

The accused were arrested for various offences:
Possession of dagga: 21
Driving under the influence of alcohol: 10
Assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm: 2
Intimidation: 2
Theft: 3
Shoplifting: 3
Armed robbery: 2
Malicious damage to property: 3
Common robbery: 1
Dealing in drugs: 2
Kidnapping: 3
Sexual assault: 1
Common assault: 1
Possession of drugs: 1
Fraud: 1
Business robbery: 2
Possession of suspected stolen property: 2

All of the arrested suspects appeared in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court where their cases were postponed for various reasons.
