Beloved Paradise Park resident dies
Residents of Paradise Park (Extension 13) in Vosloorus buried yet another neighbour, Themba Sabatha Shabalala, last Saturday, June 15.

Shabalala is survived by his childhood friend and wife, Lindile Sybil Shabalala, whom he married in 2006. The couple later had two sons, Njabulo and Mfanafuthi. Shabalala also has an older daughter, Thobekile, whom he had prior to marrying his current wife, Lindile.
Themba Sabatha Shabalala was born in Diepkloof (Zone 4), Soweto, on February 2, 1960. As a young boy he later moved to Madadeni, in Newcastle, KZN. There he completed primary school and later, matric.
Shabalala worked briefly for a metal and electrical company in Newcastle. He later left Madadeni to live in Durban.
There he enrolled for an electrical engineering diploma at the Mangosuthu Technikon.After completing his studies at the technikon, Shabalala moved to Johannesburg, where he joined Emerson Power, a company he worked for from 1993 until March 2017.
“Themba was a very family-orientated man. He will be remembered for his sense of humour, laughter, strength of character, kindness, discipline, patience and the overwhelming love for people,” said a family member.
