The Katlehong police continue to curb crime in the area through a series of operations including, but not limited to, stop-and-searches and roadblocks.
A number of stop-and-search operations were held in Katlehong last weekend, leading to the arrest of 14 suspects.

The suspects were charged with various offences.
Charges included common assault, domestic violence, shoplifting, drinking in public, reckless and negligent driving, driving under the influence of alcohol and possession of dagga.
Katlehong SAPS acting station commander, Col Nomthandeki Mthembu, was pleased with the arrests made and encouraged officers to continue their hard work.

All of the arrested suspects appeared in the Palm Ridge Magistrate’s Court where their cases were postponed for various reasons.
