Thelle Mogoerane continues to serve the community

Thelle Mogoerane Hospital takes social responsibility seriously since it serves part of the Kathorus and surrounding areas.

This was witnessed by the way the hospital management, stakeholders and staff spent their 67 minutes for Mandela, giving food parcels to the underprivileged members of the Kathorus community during the event that took place at the hospital on July 25.

In the past two years, the hospital has identified less fortunate families and came up with interventions to address their challenges in partnership with other stakeholders.

The hospital staff and management made this year’s Mandela Day a memorable one.

The chief executive officer, Nomonde Mqhayi-Mbambo, highlighted the purpose of the day which was to help the less fortunate.

Thelle Mogoerane Hospital management and staff are commemorating this day in honour of the late former president Nelson Mandela who was very passionate about children and less fortunate people.

“I wish to commend our staff members and partners for generously contributing towards this great initiative,” said Mqhayi-Mbambo.

The hospital identified five needy families in their catchment population through the institution’s social workers.

The five identified families received non-perishable food parcels and toiletries.
