Children can inspire care for animals
The AACL is holding its annual School Poster Challenge.
The countdown has begun for the Animal Anti-Cruelty League’s (AACL) annual School Poster Challenge.
All Gauteng primary school learners are reminded to show their support for the welfare of animals by entering the competition.
This year the challenge is entitled “A picture says a 1000 words – Art that speaks for those that can’t” and it is easy to enter.

Learners must draw/paint pictures depicting ways in which people show compassion and kindness to animals, care for, and affect their lives in positive ways.
Your picture must not just be a pretty picture, but a picture with a message.
Remember a slogan or title may also help in making the message clear.
A good poster grabs attention.
You are welcome to use any medium on either A2 or A3 paper.
Be as creative as possible, keep your poster bold, striking and original and have fun.
Children can enter as many times as they like, as long as each entry is accompanied by a donation to the AACL.
All money will be used by the AACL in their work of caring for and protecting animals.
For banking details contact the AACL on 011 435 0672.
Remember to clearly print on your poster:
• Your age, name and surname.
• Entry category and grade (where applicable).
• School’s name and email address.
• Your own or the school’s telephone number.
Then send or deliver your posters to:
AACL Johannesburg Society
PO Box 7, Rosettenville, 2130, Gauteng or hand deliver them to 59 Alice Street, Regents Park, Johannesburg.
