Print Exclusive: Victims encouraged to share their stories
The Germiston SAPS Victim Empowerment Centre invited women from all walks of life to come together and share their stories of survival.
Women from all walks of life met at the Germiston SAPS Victim Empowerment Centre on Wednesday as part of the #metoo campaign.
The centre, situated at the Germiston Police Station, acts as a safe haven for victims of domestic violence and rape, as well as abandoned children.
It offers immediate help to those in need before they are referred to places of safety.
