Workers protest outside Germiston Civic Centre during council meeting

A scuffle broke out at the council meeting at the Germiston Civic Centre, recently, when members of the EFF were escorted from the council chambers by the EMPD following the alleged instruction of the speaker of council, Clr Patricia Kumalo. During the commotion, a GCN journalist, who had been invited to attend and report on the council meeting, was manhandled by an unknown man.
