A team of officers from the Primrose Police Station, together with members of the Primrose Crime Prevention Youth Desk, recently visited Wychwood Primary School, on Wednesday.
The visit was aimed at promoting a safe learning environment, as the learners enter their final weeks of the year.
“A safe learning environment means we cannot tolerate bullies,” said Sgt Styles Maome, communications officer for the Primrose police.
“Each and every child has the right to an education.

“Therefore, a school should be a safe place where they can learn without fear.”
The team also strongly discouraged the children from stealing and bunking classes.
“Before leaving we encouraged the learners to study hard in order to achieve their goals,” said Maome.
