Councillor reminds community to book appointments for drivers’ licences online
Renewing and booking driver’s licence appointments must now be done online.
Ward 36 councillor Wendy Morgan is reminding residents about the new online driver’s licence pre-booking system started in Ekurhuleni on November 1.
“As from November 1, the metro will no longer assist walk-in customers when it comes to drivers’ licences,” Morgan said.
“This follows the launch of the new eNatis online driver’s licence pre-booking service by Ismail Vadi, the MEC for Roads and Transport, in August.”
This system applies to:
• Booking a learner’s licence test.
• Booking a driver’s licence test.
• Renewing a driver’s licence card.
• Renewing or applying for a professional driving permit (PrDP).
To apply for the above, bookings must be made on the website at www.online.natis.gov.za.
