The Primrose SAPS continued their back to school awareness campaign, last Monday, with a visit to Hoërskool Vryburger High School and Hoërskool Goudrif.
Officers from the Primrose Police Station were joined by Primrose SAPS Victim Empowerment Centre and Primrose SAPS Crime Prevention Youth Desk members.
The team was warmly welcomed to each school.

During the visit learners were reminded why they go to school and were taught more about discipline and the consequences of substance abuse.
“We hope the learners benefited from our visit and will take the advice into consideration,” said Sgt Styles Maome, communications officer for the Primrose police.
Before leaving members of the youth desk encouraged the learners to get involved in the fight against crime by joining the youth desk.
The team plans to visit more schools in the area soon.
