Twenty suspects netted by Primrose SAPS

The Primrose police share their latest arrest statistics.

The Primrose police arrested 20 suspects between January 24 and 30.

This, according to the latest arrest statistics released by the station.

The accused were charged with a number of different offences.

Charges included assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm, domestic violence, theft, possession of suspected stolen property, illegal possession of rhino horns, driving under the influence of alcohol, dealing in liquor without a licence, rape, possession of drugs and pointing of a firearm.

The Primrose SAPS station commander, Col Albertina Vesi, thanked everyone who contributed to the successful arrests.

Most of the suspects appeared in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court where their cases were postponed for various reasons, while others paid admission of guilt fines at the station and were released.
