The men and women in blue are making efforts to rid their policing areas of crime, to ensure that the residents within the Ekurhuleni West feel free around their cluster.
The police undertook several operations, including stop-and-searches, vehicle check-points and tracing of suspects in the cluster’s policing precincts on the weekend.

During their respective tour of duties, collectively, these Ekurhuleni West Cluster SAPS stations, Alberton, Bedfordview, Brackendowns, Eden Park, Elsburg, Germiston, Primrose, Katlehong North, Katlehong South, Tokoza, Vosloorus and Zonkizizwe, managed to arrest 92 suspects.

Perpetrators were arrested for crimes such as assault with the intention to cause grievous bodily harm, rape, murder, contravention of a protection order, possession of drugs, business burglary, house break-in and theft, malicious damage to property, possession of suspected stolen property, drunk and driving, armed robbery, shoplifting, fraud and general theft.
All the arrested suspects are expected to soon appear in various courts in the cluster.
