Non-Profit Organisation (NPO) Siyafunda Community Technology Centre (SCTC) is an ICT centre established in November 27, 2006, based in Palmridge, Katlehong.

Last year the organisation celebrated 13 years of existence and success in community empowerment.

Itumeleng Mohlomi, public relations and social media liaison of the organisation, said they provide information through their community knowledge centres. People can access computers, the internet and other digital technologies that enable them to gather information, create, learn and communicate with others via technology.

“At SCTC we offer courses in Digital Literacy and Information Technology. Our courses are registered and accredited by SETA and Cisco. We also offer a Master in Information and Communication Technologies (mICT). All courses are available at an affordable cost as we are trying to provide financial solutions to individuals from the township who are not able to enrol at colleges or universities,” said Mohlomi.
