Busy week for Primrose police

The Primrose police share their latest arrest statistics.

The Primrose police arrested 26 suspects between February 14 and 20.

This is according to the latest arrest statistics released by the station.

The accused were charged with a number of different offences.

Charges included possession of drugs, driving under the influence of alcohol, possession of hijacking implements, sexual assault, assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm, malicious damage to property, rape, dealing in liquor without a licence, interference with police duties and warrant of arrest.

The Primrose SAPS station commander, Col Albertina Vesi, thanked everyone who contributed to the successful arrests.

Most of the suspects appeared in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court where their cases were postponed for various reasons, while others paid admission of guilt fines at the station and were released.
