Twenty-one arrested in Primrose

The Primrose police share their latest arrest statistics.

The Primrose police arrested 21 suspects between February 28 and March 6.

This is according to the latest arrest statistics released by the station.

The accused were charged with a number of different offences.

Charges included possession of drugs, possession of suspected stolen property, assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm, common assault, sexual assault, domestic violence, driving under the influence of alcohol, armed robbery, child neglect, malicious damage to property, shoplifting, intimidation and warrant of arrest.

The Primrose SAPS station commander, Col Albertina Vesi, thanked everyone who contributed to the successful arrests.

Most of the suspects appeared in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court where their cases were postponed for various reasons, while others paid admission of guilt fines at the station and were released.
