The Primrose police arrested 23 suspects between March 28 and April 4.
This is according to the latest arrest statistics released by the station.

The accused were charged with a number of different offences.
Charges included possession of an unlicensed firearm and live ammunition, driving under the influence of alcohol, possession of a hijacked motor vehicle, reckless and negligent driving, dealing in liquor without a license, house break-in and theft, rape, sexual assault, possession of suspected stolen property, domestic violence and malicious damage to property.
The Primrose SAPS station commander, Col Albertina Vesi, thanked everyone who contributed to the successful arrests.

Most of the suspects appeared in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court where their cases were postponed for various reasons, while others paid admission of guilt fines at the station and were released.
