Several Germiston suburbs still in the dark

Power reportedly restored for several hours before going off again.

Residents relief, when power was restore after more than 24 hours, was short lived.

Many community members are without electricity once again this morning.

“Power was restored fron 11pm last night to the early hours of the morning, but all off again now,” said Ward 36 councillor Wendy Morgan.

The affected areas include, but are not limited to; Driehoek, Germiston CBD, Elsburg, Delville, Elandshave, Gosforth Park, Wychwood and Elandsmore.

“No restoration time has been given yet,” said Morgan.
