Primrose CPF executive committee set to hold AGM

Primrose sector committee members are invited to attend this AGM.

The Primrose CPF executive committee will be holding its AGM.

The meeting is set to take place in the lapa at the Primrose Police Station situated in Poppy Road, Primrose, on May 28 at 6.30pm.

Members of the three Primrose sector committees are invited to attend.

The executive committee is made up of a chairperson, deputy chairperson, secretary, deputy secretary, treasurer, public relations officer, head of patrollers, deputy head of patrollers, community liaison officer and three additional members.

The executive committee must be elected at an AGM of the CPF.

The following procedure applies in respect of the election of the executive committee:

Nominations for the members of the executive committee shall be made on the day of the AGM under the direction of the electoral officer as follows:

• People will be nominated for each of the above positions.

• Each member present at the AGM has one vote for each position.

Any newly elected member of the executive committee takes office upon closure of the AGM.

Outgoing members of the executive committee must present a handover report to the newly elected member of the executive committee within 15 days of the date of the AGM.

The term of office of elected members of the executive committee is five years and any member may only be re-elected for one more consecutive term.
