The Primrose police arrested 22 suspects between May 23 and 29.
This is according to the latest arrest statistics released by the station.

The accused were charged with a number of different offences.
Charges included domestic violence, assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm, driving under the influence of alcohol, possession of drugs, attempted armed robbery, armed robbery, theft, warrant of arrest, possession of suspected stolen property, rape, common assault and shoplifting.

The Primrose SAPS station commander, Col Albertina Vesi, thanked everyone who contributed to the successful arrests.
Most of the suspects appeared in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court where their cases were postponed for various reasons, while others paid admission of guilt fines at the station and were released.
