Spruitview vehicle rollover leaves one dead and one injured
ER24 paramedics responded to the scene of an accident on the N3 highway.
A man, believed to be 49 years old, was killed and a woman, believed to be 52 years old, was injured on Monday, following a vehicle rollover on the N3 highway northbound after the Spruitview off-ramp.
ER24 personnel arrived on the scene at 6am to find a light motor vehicle on the side of the road.
“The body of the man was found lying next to the vehicle while the woman was found walking around on the scene,” said Russel Meiring, from the ER24 communications office.

“Paramedics assessed the man and found that he had sustained numerous injuries and showed no signs of life.
“Nothing could be done for him and he was declared dead on the scene.”
The woman was assessed and found to have sustained moderate injuries.
She was treated and thereafter transported to Thelle Mogoerane Hospital for further care.
The accident is being investigated by local authorities.
