Trio in desperate need of homes before it‘s too late

Homes desperately needed for three Germiston SPCA dogs.

All a dog needs is love and a good home and for three dogs at the Germiston SPCA this is their last chance to find happiness.

The dogs, Joslin, Rihanna and Jasper, all have a story to tell and are desperate to find homes before it is too late.

Joslin, a female boerboel, is housed in Kennel 22 and is seven years old.

She was a cruelty case from Bedfordview and surrendered to the Germiston SPCA.

“She was badly bitten and had to spend her first two weeks at the Witfield vet,” said Taryn Bannister, a cadet at the SPCA.

“It took us a long time to get her up and running.

“She has had a terrible life and needs a nice retirement home.”

Joslin is suited to a home with other dogs, but no cats.

She is gentle and friendly.

Joslin is a seven-year-old boerboel waiting at the Germiston SPCA for a better life.

Another dog in desperate need of a loving home is Rihanna, a female pitbull.

Rihanna also comes from a background of cruelty and was surrendered by her Katlehong owners as they could not take care of her.

She is about 18 months old and is a bundle of energy.

“She has been at the SPCA since February and this is her last chance at a happy life,” said Taryn.

Rihanna is waiting in Kennel 75 for the perfect person, one who will spend time with her and give her lots of attention.

She must be adopted by a person who does not have any other dogs or cats.

Rihanna is extremely affectionate and needs a lot of love.

Rihanna, a gorgeous pitbull, is in need of a very special home.

For Jasper, life on the streets was no joke.

The nine-year-old Jack Russell is waiting in Kennel 24 and needs a special retirement home.

He was found in Elspark as a stray and no one knows what he had to endure, but it has left him extremely scared.

All Jasper needs is a loving home, with a warm bed, love and attention to bring him back to life.

If you can adopt any of these dogs and give them the life they deserve contact the Germiston SPCA on 011 825 5033 or visit the kennels in Junction Road, Driehoek.

Jasper can’t wait to be showered with love and attention.
