Officers set to make Elsburg a crime-free zone

Members of the Elsburg SAPS apprehended 24 suspects over the weekend in their efforts to combat crime in their precinct.

The officers also partnered with the EMPD who pounced on 12 motorists for driving under the influence of alcohol.

Other charges included:

• Theft: 2

• Assault GBH: 1

• Assault common: 3

• Possession of an illegal substance: 4

• Possession of dagga: 1

• Public violence: 1
