Car enthusiasts flock to the inaugural Show and Shine Car Show
The community enjoyed the inaugural Show and Shine Car Show at The Reef Shopping Centre last Saturday.
The sun broke through the morning fog just in time for the community to enjoy the first annual Show and Shine Car Show last Saturday.
The event was held at The Reef Shopping Centre in Dinwiddie.
A number of vehicles were on display for car enthusiasts to view and enjoy.
Trophies were awarded to several car owners by Mandie Spies from the centre’s management team.

Winners were:
• Frans Wessels was named the Best Overall Winner and won Best Engine Bay.
• Christo le Roux was named the second Overall Winner and won Best Exterior and Best Boot Install.
• Francois Wessels was named the third Overall Winner and won Best Paint.
• Koos Nel won the Best Old School Award.
• Sherwin Mohabir won the award for the Best Latest Model Vehicle and Best Exterior.

The community also enjoyed a fun-filled community market hosted by AK Events and live performances by Marlene Vermaas and Shaun Welgemoed.
The day was enjoyed by all who attended.
