Man (28) jailed for dagga dealing in Germiston

Const Simon Ndaba and Const Takalani Mabirimisa from the Germiston SAPS nab one man for dealing in dagga on Main Reef Road.

The Germiston SAPS task team arrested a 28-year-old man on Main Reef Road on Friday morning while doing patrols in the area.

According to Const Maxwell Mabunda, communications officer for the Germiston police, Const Simon Ndaba and Const Takalani Mabirimisa spotted the suspicious-looking man who was walking with a school bag in his hand and asked to search him.

“The officers found a full plastic bag of dagga inside the bag which he admitted he had intentions of selling to his local customers,” said Mabunda.

The suspect was arrested immediately for dealing in dagga, and was detained at the Germiston Police Station, pending his appearance in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court soon.
