Children’s home to host a Christmas party for orphans
Danisile Sishange, founder of a non-profit organisation called Danisile’s Children Home (DCH), will host a Christmas party for orphans from all over Kathorus in her home in Mfundo Park, Vosloorus, on December 17.
The dilemma, though, is that the 62-year-old does not have enough funds to get the event off the ground.
Since 2016, when she started her NPO, Sishange has been using her home to feed orphans from all over Kathorus. She said she has been doing all this without support from the government.

“I have a vision of having orphans from all over Ekurhuleni coming together to enjoy Christmas here. I would like to cook a full meal for all of them. The stumbling block that might not make my dream come true is that I do not have enough money to buy food to make the day a success. I would like people who can support me to donate food and clothes,” said Sishange.
She said there will be gifts and party packs to give to the orphans on the day.
“As for entertainment activities, children will perform different types of music, dance and drama to entertain one another,” Sishange told Kathorus MAIL.
The address for DCH, where this charitable event will take place, is no. 20470 Mfeca Lane, Mfundo Park, Extension 20.
