The Katlehong North SAPS is sending a stern warning to the community after an old modus operandi used by criminals to gain entry into residents’ homes recently resurfaced.

After leaving his Marlands home, recently, to go to a nearby car wash, a Second Avenue homeowner received a call from a friend. “The complainant told police that his friend informed him that his house had been broken into,” explained Sgt Styles Maome, communications officer for the Primrose police.
