Mother searches for drug addict son
A 47-year-old single mother from Katlehong, Isabella Ntombela, is appealing to Kathorus MAIL readers for help in finding her missing son (23), a drug addict.
The unemployed mother said she believes her son could be working for a drug syndicate that is using him to peddle drugs.
The woman, who said she was too embarrassed to have her photo placed in the newspaper or to have her name disclosed to the public, said her main concern was that her son could die from a drug overdose or by the hands of his suspected captors.

She also said she feared her son would be offended if he were to read about what his mother said about him in the newspaper.
“I’m living in hell, all because of my own child,” the woman said.
She described her son as very intelligent before he became addicted to drugs.
“Everything I have ever owned to build my life and raise my son is gone, my son has sold everything and only these rags I use as blankets are left. He can’t sell them because nobody would buy them,” she said.
“He is an intelligent young man and I’m sure his captors must have realised this about him. That is why they are using him as a ‘pusher’ in an effort to sustain his drug habit,” the mother said.
She said her son dropped out of school while he was in Grade 12 after he was introduced to drugs by friends.
Shown some photos of drug addicts arrested by the EMPD in the past few months, Ntombela was unable to identify her son among them.
