Reminder: Make sure you RSVP for #MensDialogue

Mngulashe Holdings, in partnership with the metro, to hold interactive #MensDialogue to address issues surrounding gender-based violence.

Mngulashe Holdings, in partnership with the metro, not the ANC Youth League (ANCYL) as previously stated, will host the first #MensDialogue on March 14.

This interactive dialogue is open to men from across Ekurhuleni and aims to address the issues surrounding gender-based violence.

“We are faced with the crisis of gender-based violence and oppression against women and we as men are often the perpetrators of this violence. We need to stand up and take account,” said Prince Rulashe, the event coordinator.

The event will be held at the metro’s head office, located at 14 Queen Street in the Germiston CBD.

The dialogue will run from 10am until 6pm.

“We have invited a number of guest speakers to join us on the day,” said Rulashe.

Guest speakers will include Bhekisisa Ngcobo, a musician who performs under the name Ihashi Elimhlophe; Gogo Aubrey Matshiqi, a political analyst; Siyabonga Khumalo, an actor on the popular series Muvhango; Kenny Kunenne, a former prisoner and now businessman; Themba Lukhele, a motivational speaker; and Jabu Mahlangu, a former Kaizer Chiefs FC and Supersport United FC player.

“We need to address the issues before the cycle continues,” said Rulashe.

Interested community members are urged to book their seats as there are limited seats available.
