Ward 36 councillor Wendy Morgan told the GCN that the metro is aware of the power outages in various parts of Germiston.
The estimated restoration time for the outage in Elspark and Graceland is noon.
“The power is off due to cable faults,” Morgan said.
There is also an outage affecting Solheim, west of Main Road, Fishers’ Hill, Symhurst and parts of Primrose.
Morgan said the estimated restoration time is 3pm.
