A 44-year-old suspect was arrested by the Primrose police on a charge of domestic violence last Sunday.
The man was arrested after his wife opened a case against him.

“The complainant alleged she was at her home with her husband and their seven children when she received an SMS on her cellphone,” said Sgt Styles Maome, communications officer for the Primrose police.
“The suspect allegedly became furious and accused her of cheating.
“Later that evening the victim claimed she was watching TV when the suspect grabbed her and threw her to the floor in front of their children and demanded she leave his house.”
The victim sustained minor injuries.

The suspect was arrested and taken to the Primrose Police Station.
He has since appeared in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court, where his case was postponed for plea and trial.
