Hirsch’s Entrepreneurs’ Workshop webinars have continued to grow in popularity.
Held on a weekly basis, every Friday at 11am, they have been a place of sanity and comfort for struggling small business owners around the country during lockdown.
The powerful duo of Margaret Hirsch and ActionCOACH’s Marlene Powell give sound, sage and practical advice on how entrepreneurs can keep their businesses healthy during this extraordinary time in our history.
They are always joined by panellists who share their experiences to help business owners through this crisis.
In the most recent edition, last Friday, they were joined by Consumer Watch’s Wendy Knowler and ActionCOACH’s Harry Welby-Cooke.
Wendy pointed out that in times like this, CEOs need to make a commitment to be the go-to person when it comes to consumer complaints.
“Communication, even if it’s not going to be positive, at a time like this is vital and the CEO needs to be on the frontline when it comes to dealing with the public,” she said.
With regard to bookings made and cancelled, the CPA still stands and refunds need to be given she added.
Harry, the master licensee for ActionCOACH South Africa, said knowing that businesses are going to take a knock but understanding they can still survive was extremely important.
“Don’t keep looking at the negative.
“There are also a lot of positive things happening right now,” he said.
