Officers from the Primrose Police Station were called to the Stanhope Hostel, last Tuesday.
“When police arrived at the hostel they found the body of a 22-year-old man lying in a pool of blood,” said Sgt Styles Maome, communications officer for the Primrose police.

“The victim had sustained a gunshot wound to his lower body.
“The motive for the murder is still unknown.”
Police are appealing to anyone with information which could lead to the arrest of the suspect/suspects to come forward.
