Kasie Outreach extends its helping hand to communities
“Since 2018, our efforts have proved to be successful and effective throughout informal settlements in the City."

REACT-24, a West Turffontein-based security company, donated about 70 loaves of bread to a community outreach programme on July 10 in Mayberry Park.
With the help of an organisation from Pretoria, 32-Bn Veteran, the security company generously reached out to Kasie Outreach, a monthly community programme led by Simphiwe Malunga.
Kasie Outreach is a non-profit and faith-based organisation that operates in the City of Ekurhuleni. Simphiwe Malunga said the members of Kasie Outreach primarily give back to the underprivileged residing in the City’s informal settlements, by providing food hampers and clothing.
“Since 2018, our efforts have proved to be successful and effective throughout informal settlements in the City. “These include Loliwe, Somalia Park and Delmore informal settlements and more,” he said.
Kasie Outreach relies mainly on donations from its keen donors and funds from its members. Those interested in helping can donate second-hand clothing, food hampers and or shoes.
“We would like to extend our gratitude to REACT-24 for the generous donation to Kasie Outreach community programme in these tough times everyone is facing. We understand that most companies have been facing financial difficulties as well and we appreciate every donation we get,” said Simphiwe.
The loaves of bread were donated to people residing in the informal settlement Thulasizwe in Katlehong on the same weekend.
