Planned water supply interruption in parts of Germiston this weekend

No water tankers will be allocated as the repairs will take place at night. Residents are reminded to store enough water to utilise during this time.

The City of Ekurhuleni announced a planned water supply interruption in Germiston from 7pm on September 19 to 7am on September 20. The affected areas are Elspark and Egoli Village.

According to the city, there will be low pressure to no water due to the installation of an additional water meter connection on the Rand Water C6 pipeline.

This will be done to make provision for water supply to residents through the C6 pipeline during the forthcoming shutdown of C6 and C20 tie-in planned for the following weekend.
