The City of Ekurhuleni announced that Rand Water has scheduled an urgent replacement of a portion of its G18 pipeline for Saturday, November 21.

It will necessitate that the G18 pipeline be drained at 12 noon to allow the technicians to commence with the work. The G18 will return to full operation during the morning of November 24.

There is a possibility that the areas and businesses listed below will be affected, and water interruptions may occur due to the duration of the shutdown and the envisaged fluctuations of the water levels in the respective reservoirs:

• Jupiter Industries
• Primrose and Primrose Extension
• Dawnview
• Sunnyrock
• Symhurst
• Solheim
