Elsburg SAPS task team arrested a man for possession of drugs and dealing in drugs on November 24 at around 10pm.
“The task team was conducting crime prevention operations when they received a tip-off from an anonymous person alleging a person was selling drugs on Lantana Road,” said Elsburg SAPS spokesperson Sgt Daphney Phooko.
Two officers attended the scene.

“Police found a clear plastic container with different types of drugs, which included 10 packets of crystal meth, two packets of nyaope, and R420 in cash,” said Phooko.
The suspect was arrested and will appear in Germiston Magistrate’s Court.
