Community comes together for animals

Germiston CPF thanked all individuals including Pick n Pay Lambton and Hazel Park for making an effort in the collection of dog and cat food for the Germiston-Bedfordview SPCA.  According to Pine Pienaar, the CPF chairperson of Lambton, Germiston CPF received much-needed pet food from community members.

“The donations were from Delville (Sector 3), Lambton/Hazeldene-Hazel Park known as Lambton Klip (Sector 4) and Dinwiddie known as Din-Al-View (Sector 5).

“The donation totaled 892 kg of pet food and was handed over to the Germiston SPCA.”
Pienaar said Germiston CPF urges all other CPF’s to follow suit as the SPCA are in dire need of food to feed the furbabies.
