Janco makes international modelling moves
The Empire State awaits Janco Blignaut (14) from Klippoortjie Park after he was recently invited to attend the International Modelling and Talent Association (IMTA) Convention in New York in July.
Janco said he is beyond ecstatic and honoured. “I know an opportunity like this does not come along every day and I am willing to put in the work, time and effort required of me to be successful. I look forward to the opportunities that are waiting on my doorstep,” said the model.
Janco’s mother, Daleen, said he participated in a live stream showcase at the Silver Star Casino, where he performed a monologue and fashion modelling.
“From there he received his callback and invitation from six overseas agents. I am very proud of what he has accomplished.
“He will have the opportunity to showcase his talents in front of more than 300 agents in the entertainment, modelling and film industry,” said Daleen.
Elsubie Verlinden, director of Janco’s agency, 33 and Me Talent Agency, said he is a remarkable artist.

“Janco is a true go-getter who is fighting for his dreams and is not afraid to work hard and go the extra mile to achieve what he is destined to become. “He is passionate, driven and truly stands out in a crowd.”
Elsubie added Janco is unique, talented and his presence in a room will never go unnoticed. “I am excited to showcase Janco’s local talent on an international stage at the largest modelling and talent convention in the world this July.”
Janco added he is motivated by his support system. “I have a wonderful modelling coach, parents and friends. I also focus on staying positive,” said Janco.
The model’s other hobbies are swimming, watching comedy and action movies, airsoft, paintball, gaming and go-karting.
The Blignaut family are raising funds for Janco’s venture and requested assistance from the community.
