EMPD officers arrested two drivers for speeding on April 23 in Germiston.
EMPD spokesperson Kobeli Mokheseng said metro police officers monitoring the N3 freeway at Grey Avenue off-ramp stopped a coupe for exceeding the 120km/h speed limit before lawbreakers were handcuffed and marched to the Germiston Police Station.

“A female driver in a Porsche 911 Carrera was stopped and apprehended for clocking 176 km/h, citing she was on her way to the Spruitview area.
“A male driving a silver Audi A4, who claimed to be on his way to KZN, was arrested for registering 168 instead of 120km/h.”
Mokheseng said arrested motorists face charges of reckless and negligent driving and are expected to appear in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court soon.
