North West stolen goats discovered in Villa Liza, Vosloorus
The Dawn Park police have opened a case of possession of stock theft while another case of stock theft has been opened in North West.

A North West farmer whose 25 goats were stolen breathed a sigh of relief after 13 of the goats were recovered in Vosloorus and Villa Liza on April 26.
Three of the stolen goats were found dead on the streets near the farm, but nine others are still missing.
According to the victim, Alex Sepeng (58), he woke up on April 22 to find that 25 goats were stolen from his farm.
“When I discovered that my livestock was missing, I nearly collapsed. I found three of the goats dead on the street that morning. It was such a terrible thing to witness, especially while I was arranging my father’s funeral the following day,” Sepeng said.
Sepeng stated he would have loved to find all of his goats, but recovering some of them was better than nothing.
Dawn Park SAPS Capt Dan Mahlangu confirmed the recovery and added that two men were arrested in connection with the theft.
“WO David Rafanyane and Capt Dan Mahlangu reacted to information which led them to Vosloorus. When he arrived at the given address, two goats were found. Further investigation revealed that 11 of the goats were in Villa Liza,” explained Mahlangu.
Mahlangu said a case of possession of stock theft has been opened at the Dawn Park SAPS, while another case of stock theft has been opened in North West.
