Hannesse name favourite player
Hannesse plays centre back and right-wing for the club's u-15 division, but also features in the u-17 and u-20 divisions.
Lefa ‘Ramos’ Hannesse has been selected as Palm Ridge-based soccer club Community Stars FC’s favourite player.
The other nominees were Rulani Mawelele, Sphiwe Tshabalala and Joseph Mhlanga.
Hannesse plays centre back and right-wing for the club’s u-15 division, but also features in the u-17 and u-20 divisions.
According to his teammates and coach Sipho Ndlovu, Hannesse is a responsible, committed, flexible and engaged player with good ball-handling skills.
“He is able to make pinpoint and long-distance passes, he can pass using his feet, chest, head and other parts of the body,” said Ndlovu.
He said what makes Hannesse a great player is his ability to see the whole field and make space passes creatively, his excellent tactical skills and knowledge of the game.
“He has a passion, ambition and hunger to succeed. He is spatially aware and quick to visualise and understand the picture on the football pitch,” said Ndlovu.
