Katlehong artist drops new single for summer
“Summer Siyabangena is meant to bring back families and friends together, and unite people of all nations to bring peace and happiness this festive season.”
Katlehong-based producer Voxyzie Bone, real name Bongani Dlamini (29), released a new single titled Summer Siyabangena on October 20, following his maskandi and hip-hop-infused single titled Banomona.
The multi-talented artist said the song is about welcoming the summer season after a long period under lowdown.
“Summer Siyabangena is meant to bring back families and friends together and unite people of all nations to bring peace and happiness this festive season,” said Voxyzie Bone.
“I produced the song and featured one of the youngest up-and-coming vocalists Madodandile Gift Msibi (15). The song has been playlisted by some of the community radio stations, including Alex FM. It is expected to go live on all digital stores this week,” he said.
He established a record label called Namanje Dawg Entertainment and has worked with artists like Drencko on his new project. He also scooped international features with artists from Nigeria and Kenya, as well as Ugandan artist Star Khid.

During his 13-year career, he has been nominated twice by Mama20 for best upcoming artist, Mama21 for best producer, Lama awards 2021, Gama awards 2021 for best producer, The Durban Challenge, Djoocky international music awards and Boltz awards.
He said he does not limit himself to a specific genre; hence, he was able to break into the Purebreak charts with his singles and album released under Sheer Publishing.
Voxyzie Bone said Summer Siyabangena is a lead single from his project called Ikasi Lama Piano. The project is set to drop early next year.
