The ANC’s candidate responded as follows:
Ward 39 Prince Ralushe:
“The main service delivery issue in the area is electricity outages through cable theft and ageing infrastructure that hinders the local economy in Ward 39. Business lose production time and this is causing loss of income to many businesses.
“I plan to address this issue because businesses contribute a lot to the community.
“We are still trying to recover from Covid-19 and these power outages are not assisting
“I aim to address the issue of cable theft and crime by setting up a Ward 39 security cluster which will include SAPS, EMPD, private security, business and CPF patrollers to strengthen patrols in the area and be more visible.
“This will ensure we minimise crime and cable theft.”
