Introducing the Kathorus MAIL Knockout tournament

The purpose of the tournament is to support and contribute positively to the development of local sports.

Kathorus MAIL has partnered with Katlehong Local Football Association (KALFA) to introduce the first Kathorus MAIL Knockout Tournament (KMKT) as part of supporting local football development.

Discussions began months ago when the founder and managing editor of the MAIL Zaid Khumalo said hosting a soccer tournament for the community and the readers of Kathorus MAIL has always been part of his vision.

The MAIL intends to host the top 8 knockout tournament that will use the rotational trophy method whereby the Kathorus MAIL knockout champions will keep the rotational trophy for a month, and return it when the MAIL hands over their trophy with the name of the club and year engraved on it.

The purpose of the tournament is to support and contribute positively to the development of local sports. While bringing amusement and unity to the community through local football.

KMKT will take place at Somhlobo soccer field from November 13 to 14.
